Hereford - City Life - Country Style
Herefordshire is a rural county rich in heritage, culture and enterprise, located at the heart of England. The River Wye meanders through the stunning unspoilt countryside awash with artisan makers and producers and a high number of dedicated small independent food and drink producers. Charming black & white villages, bustling historic market towns, a picturesque City Centre and a whole host of year round events, festivals and activities. The Courtyard, the county’s premier arts and entertainment venue presents a diverse programme of theatre, music, dance, comedy, film and visual arts. There is certainly something for everyone to enjoy whether you are living or visiting here.

Then why not visit one or all of our beautiful and historic ancient cathedral city or market towns with unique and individual shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants.
Skylon Park complements the recently completed city centre expansion, which has transformed the heart of Hereford into a 21st century city centre. The Old Market site now provides a Debenhams department store, six screen digital Odeon cinema, Waitrose food store and a variety of shops and restaurants. This exciting £80m development was fully funded by the private sector. The development which opened in May 2014 has created 1,100 new jobs for the city and the development will act as a catalyst for future investment in the area.
